Anne Frank Center moving closer to ground zero

The nonprofit Anne Frank Center plans to relocate to an office tower near ground zero in time for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the organization will lease 2,500 square feet of space in a building on Church Street. It is currently located nearby, at Crosby Street.

Center co-chairwoman Deborah Chapin says it's fitting for an organization that promotes tolerance and human rights to be near ground zero. The nonprofit also offers educational programs about the Holocaust.
