March isn't just about madness anymore. Razoo's March Goodness Contest encourages people to pledge their allegiances to their favorite causes, and raise awareness and support for them to help them win thousands in grant funds.

Organizations and supporters can create fundraising pages to recruit supporters for their causes using Razoo, a free, online giving platform. The organization with the most donor-supporters this month will win a $10,000 grant. The organization with the second-most supporters will win a $3,000 grant; the winner of a random drawing of organizations with at least 50 supporters will be awarded a $2,000 grant; and the winner of a random drawing of organizations with at least 10 donor supporters will receive a $1,000 grant.

Supporters can create fundraising pages for their organizations of choice and recruit friends, family members and other contacts to contribute. According to Razoo, creators of the most successful fundraising pages will be awarded prizes for their efforts, which include an iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.

Features of Razoo's nonprofit fundraising program include no transaction or service fees, real-time donation reports, downloadable donation widgets that can be added to organizations' Web sites, and donation-management tools that, among other things, allow donors to schedule recurring gifts. According to Razoo, individuals who set up a recurring donation with an organization during the contest are entered to win $500 in a random drawing.

Any nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Razoo's organization database is eligible for the contest and will be automatically entered to win. Organizations not in the database can be added by registering with Guidestar.org. Only one contribution from an individual donor will be counted for a nonprofit or fundraiser page, but individuals can make contributions to an unlimited number of nonprofits and fundraising pages.
